Join your local Democrats and walk with Johnston Area Democrats in the 2025 Johnston Green Days Parade. Line up begins at 5pm (we will be in AREA 4, see below), and all walkers must be in place by 5:30 (parade rules). The parade starts at 6pm!

Instructions From The Parade Organizer

Staging Instructions:

We will begin staging in the west Corteva parking lot at 5:00 PM and will need you in place and ready to go no later than 5:30 PM. Enter the staging area from NW 62 nd Ave onto South Drive. Proceed to the check-in tent, where you will be directed to your area. If you have several participants being dropped off, please have drivers return and exit on NW 62 nd Ave the way they entered.

Area 4

2. Volunteer Parade Staff will be in this area to assist you once you arrive. Please enter the staging area from NW 62 nd Ave onto South Drive. Proceed to the check-in tent, where you will be directed to your area which is at the intersection of South Drive and Pioneer Pkwy.
3. We will begin releasing floats toward Pioneer Pkwy at 5:45 PM so ready to head out on the route at the 6:00 PM start time. Parade Staff will let you know when it is time to be released to the parade route.
4. We must keep an OPEN LANE on South Drive for emergency response vehicles, so there is no parking along South Drive for any reason.
5. Please ensure that your staging area is clean before you leave.
