Speakers to be announced soon\, be sure to save the date!“We are very pleased to announce that our special guest speakers at our May 20 Polk County Central Committee meeting will be four of our outstanding Polk County Democratic legislators\, Senators Janet Petersen and Claire Celsi\, and Representatives Heather Matson and Sean Bagniewski. Janet\, Claire\, Heather and Sean will discuss the recently-completed legislative session\, both the good and the bad (and\, of course\, there was too much of the latter\, as has been the case under Republican control). They’ll also touch on legislative proposals that Democrats could pass if we had the majority and what we might expect to see in this fall’s election.”
